That’s double the number of EVs registered in the state at the end of 2020

There are now nearly 208,000 electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles registered in New Jersey, Gov. Phil Murphy's administration announced Tuesday. It's a significant milestone for the state and Murphy's efforts to slash the greenhouse gas emissions that fuel climate change. The transportation sector is the largest source of air pollution in New Jersey and the rest of the United States.
