NJ commits funds to study offshore wind development impacts

Officials announce $3.7M in funding

State regulators on Monday committed roughly $3.7 million in funding for scientific research into the impacts that offshore wind development has on marine life. The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection and the state Board of Public Utilities announced the funding, which will go toward five studies.
